Fishin at the "Duck Pond"

The first catch (small perch) made by Brandon's lucky "Transformers" pole. He caught this on his first cast!
Brandon's second cast yeilded a small rainbow trout!!

Ben is just chillin!

The boys fishin!

Me and Ben, my proof that we were there once again... one token picture.

Blake and his first fish. A trout reeled in on Brandon's lucky pole, but as I was taking this picture Brady had to start reeling in a fish on Blake's pole.

This is that fish caught on Blake's pole that I talked about in the previous picture.

Gotta get that hook out!

At home they had to clean the fish that they kept! The boys were so intersted in Brady filleting the trout.

I was very thankful that Brady did this outside on the patio... as most of you may know I hate the smell of fish and I would have died trying to clean up the kitchen after this project.

The last fish is in that bowl even though you can't see it.

There's that last fish! All together they caught 6 keepers. We were going to grill them up tonight with our friends the Neilson's but Matt got sick so we froze the fillets for another night. I took all these pictures on my cell phone because i forgot the real camera. I am quite impressed with how they turned out! Thank Heaven for cell phones with cameras!!

BBQ Competition

Brady entered a BBQ competition at our local grocery store; "Broulim's". The competition was today and the first place person got to go on to a final competition to win a $500 grill. Brady really wanted the grill so he signed up. I am proud to report that he won 2nd place out of 12 competitors. So he didn't win the grill but he got a $25 gift card to Broulim's and got to eat part of an amazing steak. The steaks were free and he just had to season and cook it. He even saved some for me to eat for dinner tonight. It was by far the best steak I have ever tasted! I told Brady i expect to eat steak like that again in the future. Great Job Brady!!

Rexburg Air Show

This P-51 Mustang was crashed a couple years ago and just got back from the shop the day before the air show.
Me and Ben and Brandon... this is my proof that I was there :)

Ben chewing on his sleeve enjoying the show.

Brandon and a little bit of Shelby I swear I had her all the way in the picture but on that cloudy day it was so hard to see what we were taking pictures of .

Blake eating a fruit roll-up.

Ryan, Heather and Sadie.

Blake climbing the National Guard rock wall. He made it about 1/3 of the way up. Kinda hard with cowboy boots on!

Posing.

Airplane shot, this was a really fast aerobatics plane that used petrolium for fuel.

I bought this plane for my dad for Father's Day... he'll get it when he teaches me how to fly!!!

Then I saw the price tag and woke up!! Ha ha! Love ya Dad!!

Brandon in a big National Guard tow truck.

Blake in the same tow truck.

National Guard Fire Truck.

Blake the helicopter pilot, a helo school was recruiting during the show.

Brandon the pilot.

Bob Hoover's old plane "Ole Yeller" he gave this plane to the museum with the stipulation that it must be flown... cool huh!

Me, Ryan, and the babies. They were trying to eat eachother's shoes.

The Rexburg Air Show is the highlight of the summer here in Rexburg for us. There is an awesome Jelly Belly plane that looses all kinds of parts in a clown type air act, and they show case a number of classic bombers. We had a lot of fun, and while we were at the air show Brady was fly fishing ... so he had a lot of fun that day too! This was the weekend of Father's Day, June 20th.

BIG JUDS BURGER COMPETITION!!

Broulims the local grocery store here in Rexburg had a hamburger eating competition yesterday. Brady had to eat a 1 lb burger as fast as he could.
Brady and his BIG burger!!

He ate that sucker in less than 5 minutes!!!

The big winner won a $25 gift card to Broulims 2 t-shirts and a coupon for a free Jamba Juice. I am sooo Proud!

I tried to download the video of Brady's big moment but after 25 hours of uploading I gave up. He is now a hero at Broulims. We went shopping after the competition and everyone kept pointing to Brady and saying... "That's the guy who won the burger competition!!" It may even be in the town paper :)

Fishing at Warm River

We went to Warm River on Saturday ... not sure why they call it that because there is NO warm water in Idaho. But we had a lot of fun on the River and Brady even caught a few fish.
The only fish we got a picture of was a little tiny 3-4 inch fish. The kids were so excited to see a fish, they were not able to catch any with their poles but they had fun playing with the worms.

Brandon and Olivia are trying get to that fish and touch it!

Brandon says CHEESE!

The fish is in the net in the water so it doesn't die... they are all so interested.

This is Nicole holding Ben and her neice Sky.

Matt fishing... Brady's best fishing buddy!

Me and Ben, I have to document my attendance at all these family fun events since I am usually the photographer many times I don't get included in the pictures so I am trying to get better at that. Althought this picture is not exactly flattering :) By the way the jackets... it was COLD rainy and 48 degrees.

Brandon and Olivia eating watermelon and playing witha stick.

Brady an his tiny fish!

A Fun Day!

These pictures are from Wednesday night, Blake had so much fun that he was exhausted and then fell asleep in the shower!! He was only in there for about 3 minutes before he fell asleep. That day he learned to ride his bike with no training wheels and then we went to the park and rode bikes all afternoon. Later we played catch and practiced on his better batter baseball. By the way that big red mark is from laying in the tub he rolled over right before Brady took the picture.

Blake's Birthday Party

Blake and his cake, yes I made it, wish I had a better picture of the cake but only took one on my phone. Love this pic of Blake though
Opening presents and his best little boy friend Jake.

Blake and a few friends, never did get a picture of all of them.

McKenzie, they all signed the pin given to Blake for his birthday by the bowling alley.

Silly Blake

Look at all those pins his just knocked down!!

Blake and his friend Ashley

Brandon getting ready to push that ball!

Blake and his pin.. probably one if his favorite presents from the party.

Recieving the pin.

Right before they gave him his pin they changed the screens and told him silly ways to bowl.

More silly bowling.

The screen during silly bowling, and they were playing Happy Birthday on the loud speaker thsi whole time.

Brandon and his friend Tristan... so cute, they were high fiving most of the time, and in the brown dress behind them is Faith, Tristan's big sister and Blake's friend.
